Another eye catching pendant with my interpretation of Victorian architectural design elements as jewelry.
Frequently fanciful, sometimes elaborate and often a status symbol for a home owner's wealth (or aspirations!), ceiling roses were popularized in the 18th and 19th centuries. Drawing a viewer's eyes to the ceiling, they frame and act as a centering point for a room. This medallion is a nod to the ornamental history and artistic aesthetic of the time period and comparably, acts as a remarkable focal point for those whose gaze falls on the wearer.
Details: Pendant measures 1.5 cm in diameter with one 2.70 mm center set diamond.
